Hi All

Please advice me, if there is a way to place an image inside an object, for example: I have a rounded rectangle and can i make a particular image to sit inside this object?
How to make rounded corners for square images?

thanks

...use the rectangle frame tool, click on your document and enter width and height values or click and drag to create a frame...

...if you hold the shift key while dragging this will constrain proportions...

...with the frame still highlighted you can either go to object > convert shape > rounded rectangle or object > corner effects. Select rounded from the pulldown menu and enter a value...

...go to file > place, select the image with 'replace selected item' checked in the place dialogue...

Andrew

...with the image in place, right click the image and choose one of the fitting options (right click > fitting)...

Andrew

...to add you can also use the rectangle tool or the path tool to create shapes for images to be placed into...

Andrew

..you can also paste objects into frames, with the select tool (black arrow) select an object (or grouped objects), got to edit > copy or edit > cut, select the target frame or shape and choose edit > paste into...

Andrew

...and to add to the above there are two tools to use with placed images, the black arrow selects the frame the image is in, the white arrow selects the actual image...

Andrew

...also it is possible to drag an image from your folder or desktop and drop it onto a frame without going through the file > place method...

Andrew

...if you already have the image placed you can also simply select the image with the select tool (black arrow) and choose object > corner effects...
