Hi,

How can I enlarge the grey area (pasteboard?) of the desktop around the white page? I think it would be easier to move around freely if the grey area is larger rather than zoom in and zoom out all the time. Specially when pasting large images.

I am using Indesign CS 2 in Mac OS X.

Any idea? Thanks and best,
Sebastiao

On the toolbar, on the left handside, there are two buttons at the bottom of this toolbar. The tooltips show these as Normal and Preview.

You can click each of these to show the pasteboard or not. You can preview your image without seeing the pasteboard, you can preview with the bleed, to hide things on the pasteboard and you can preview with the slug.

But I don't think this is what you're after.

Go to

Edit>Preferences>Guides and Pasteboard

At the Bottom of this is a thing called PASTEBOARD OPTIONS.

You can change the vertical amount up to 3048mm, giving you more pasteboard space to work with.

Thanks for the info guys, PASTEBOARD OPTIONS works great! Thanks for the help.

Best,
Sebastiao
