I am just learning to use Indesign and am somewhat adobe illiterat.

I have been researching this topic to no avail, although I have found a ton of information, none of it seems to be what I need.

I switched to Indesign from MS Publisher (I know, please dont throw tomatoes). Publisher has the ability for me to create one document that I will be constantly changing (ex: real estate postcards) and multi-upping it onto my chosen page size. But I cant seem to reproduce the same or similar effect in Indesign.

Please Help.

For "constantly changing" you can save as a Template. Open the ID doc and go to Save As and select template. That keeps the basic design and allows change Also check the Window menu/Template Browser. This allows you to browse older template so you don't have to find them.

For "multi upping" go to Print and clcik on Setup tab. Select paper size, orientation, scaling, and thumbnails or tiling. HOWEVER, if printing on your own printer, check the setup of the printer. In the ID print window, you'll see a Printer button at the bottom of the page to access the printer setting for your local printer. Check that you have any needed printer driver updates for Vista.
