Indesign and xml ! ? HELP ...

Hi Guys
Im in the process of building a web site that clients can build there own business cards online from templates and upload there company logos !
I have no problem building the site ... and generating the xml for indesign to use ! im also fine on printing from indesign no problem !
Problem is in the middle !
Is there anyway i can automate the service ?
The way i see it working is -
card is created online and ordered !
card is then exported to xml database !
then i pick the database up and import it into indesign and then print the card !
..........................
Now really i want to cut me out ! so i would like to send straight to indesign without me doing it ? is this possibe ?
Can you get a indesign server ?

Trevor, I suggest you post your question (and platform) on the InDesign Scripting forum on the Adobe web site. There are many people right now automating page layout in InDesign via a browser front end. In fact, at least one high-end ad makeup system was prototyped completely using VB scripting in ID. So check out the scripting forum on the Adobe web site. Experienced people hang out there and can give you some advice.
