Hi,

I tested in my PC and found different browsers have independent Cookies for the same site(Please correct me if I am wrong).
My question is what is different browsers having independent Cookies? For example, following are the same browser or not:

Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1)
Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322)
Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+InfoPath.1

Thanks a lot.

I know the following are actually the same IE in the same machine but are set with different names, do you think they have different cookies?

Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1)Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322)Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+InfoPath.1

It's certainly possible, you could only be 100% sure by testing.

For multiple copies of the same browser on one machine it may well depend on how they have been installed.

It's not something I have tested recently.
