Simple situation in a view:

CompanyName Icon1 Icon2 Summary1 Summary2 Summary3

Icon1 and Icon2 are displayed as icons, both work fine. Summary1 is response documents only, Summary2 and Summary3 are used for the main documents.

It all works, but the indents are awful. I have icon1 set up to only display icons for the main documents, and Icon2 only displays for the responses, but I'm getting this result

>>Company
** Office Summary
** Another Office Summary
** >>Another Office Summary
** Response Summaary
** Another Office Summary
** >>Another Office Summary
** Another Response Summary

I simply CANNOT find a way to get the responses further over to the right, and it looks more horrile in Notes than it does on here, trust me!!

You need to make the 3rd kind a Response to Response type to get further indentation.

Cunning, cunning...

Thanks, very helpful! I'm beginning to wonder if you and I are the only Lotus Notes programmers in the world... Kind of a master and student relationship!

I was a previous student too! I can now answer some questions, but I usually wait for Pascal so I can learn more and not look like an idiot!

I don't do much in Lotus now, but Pascal is a Notes Lifesaver!!!

ooohh, "Master" is a bit strong - a bit more enlightened than you would be more realistic :).

I follow the open-source model in that I see no reason to keep what I know for myself. Notes is a hard product to get a grip on, so us dev types need all the help we can get.
Whenever I can ease the stress of a fellow developer, I'm happy. Maybe that is why I take a bit more time than some to hunt for questions I can answer.
