Hi,

I have a report in which I would like a label to show a number. For each page (About 24 pages are returned), there are three records show. I would like a lable that shows, 1, 2, 3 ... 24 for each record.

I cannot use the ID of the recordset, because the numbering should always start at 1.

Is there a way to place a lable (or field) and have it start at 1, then increment each time another recorded is displayed? Do I need to add a field in my query (highly likely I think)

Thanks

Add an unbound text box to your detail section. In the text box's properties, define the following controls:
Code:
ControlSource: =1
RunningSum: Over Group
This should be what you're looking for.....

Something so simple... yet effective!

And this post happened on my Birthday!
