Incremental Daily Backups &Full on Fridays

I am trying to use the same tape for daily incrementals, and a new one for the full. I started this with a full backup and clear archive bit. I used a new tape "erased" and did my first Incremental which went ok, but the next day with "append" the incremental did not like the tape I already have in after the first job. I continually have to put in a new "erased" tape.

Any tips on what to setup or where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Check your Asconfig.ini contains

OverwriteAnyTape=Yes

I think you have to set "append to media" in the media options.
