Incremental Backup Problem

Hi Guys!

I'm having problem with incremental backup. I have Arcserve 2000 Advanced Edition installed on both Windows 2000 server and Windows NT Server. In windows nt, incremental backup is working fine while in my windows 2000 is not. I tried to compare what files had been backup on both server. and found out that only directories had been backup in windows 2000 server but not the files. I also check the log files and found no error at all.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check the activity log. In the begining of the job it lists the estimate of the number of files to be backed up.

Make sure the full backups work correctly.

Check for an other application that is clearing the archive bit.

Use the attrib command or just run an ARCserve Count job to make sure the files have the archive bit set.
