Howzit guys

I have two mirror sets (a,b)I would like to use the space from the b mirror set to add to the volume space of the a set. Will there be any problems with this, with regards to the redundancy of the data in the volume.

Thanks

Yes, there will be.

The new part of "a" set may not get mirrored at all.

On the whole, it's a risky plan. You might be better off striping the data (you need minimum 3 disks).

But your free space will incerea to two-third instead of half.
