I'm really having a serious problem with my NT 4.0 terminal server set up. How do i get the profiles to delete automatically after the user logs off? Citix 1.8 is loaded on this server and every once in a while, I get this error:

"Cannot locate domain for "log on name"

I also set up the users with a terminal server path so that it knows where to look for them. I have them set up on the D drive of my terminal server. I had load balancing installed on this server but after awhile, things just go screwy so I took the license off. How can I make my set up stable? Every day, I have to re-boot the metaframe server. This is getting really frustrating and my boss wants results like yesterday. Any help would be appreciated.

Open the policy editor of the server.

Choose: Open registry
goto:
\Windows NT User Profiles
- Delete cached copies of Roaming Profile : SELECT

Save the policy.

However, to get this working you must make sure that everyone has a roaming profile. Maybe you must also the first time erase the local cached policies by hand before this works.

In the policy editor (poledit.exe). Goto menu: FILE and choose Open Registry.
