increasing processes

Is there any error in /var/adm/messages. If you're getting "file table is full", nfiles is the parameter. If you're getting "process table is full", check nproc.
For nproc, as a rule of thumb, if you can't reduce the number of processes running, increase nproc by 150%.
If you're not getting any errors in /var/adm/messages, it may be a per-user process restriction.
