Increasing of conference parties.

Gentlemen,

pls advise, is it possible to increase number of maximum value of parties in conference, because my 3300 icp mx controller it has a value of 8 as a default and we want to increase the value and conference about 10 parties.

please help.

Below some informations about MX :

Here what I've found in Release 8 THB page # 380 :

Conferees in a conference; maximum (see note 2) 8


Note 2: Any combination of conferees and conferences may not exceed 64 channels. For example, 21 three-party conferences for a total of 64 channels or eight eight-party conferences for a total of 64 conference channels. (The MXe Server will support 128 conferees in its maximum configuration.)

The 8 Member limit is fixed.

It can only be overcome by using more than 1 internal set with the method outlined in the FAQ MitelInMyBlood links to above.

The Quick Conference Application offered by Mitel is quite slick and Can support larger conferences.

If you need conferences larger than 8 you will need to use a conferencing server. You may want to look at Mitel's Quick Conference product, works like a dream.
