increasing Memory on MSDE

Hi all,
we've an hugh memory allocation on one of our MS-SQL Servers. It is MSDE installed and the database is not more than 45 MB but the memory is linear increasing up to 1,5 GB in 2 weeks.
Does nayone know if this is a bug or more an application behaviour ?
The DB grows not more than 2 MB per week. I think that the application hold anything in memory, but how could I check this ?
It is on Win2000 with MSDE.
