increase volume on auto attendant prompt message 1

Hi,
Is there a way to increase the volume of the AA voice prompt message?
We're running VMPRO 2.1 on a 2003 server.(This is a temp loan system). When calling through, the message is not very loud.
The server does not have an audio device attached(eg no sound card). HP ML350 G3.
Is it just that the message needs to be recorded loudly first?

Thanks Bas1234,
I did wonder about editing the sound file itself and your post pushed me in the right direction.
However, I ended up using Audacity which is a very cool little program-I've used it to edit the MOH before.
