Hi

I am trying to increase the logic volume size by using sam. When I entered the size I presented with the error below.
I unmounted the file system but I am not sure what are stopping me from increase the size?
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you

Logical volume /dev/icm1/SCCSMaster is currently mounted on u/osi/develop/SCCS and could not be unmounted. The LV cannot be extended until the file system is able to be unmounted. Note that fuser(1M) command can be used outside of SAM to help determine what processes and users are currently accessing this file system.

Hi

When you say that you unmounted the filesystem, I think that this umount may have failed due to the filesystem being in use by an application/user. Try umounting again, and check after with a bdf before going into SAM to extend the LV.

Are you actually in the filesystem when trying to unmount - if you are the umount will fail. Do your unmount from / and check for other users using fuser as suggested above. Cheers.
