I am going to install 18 sets approx 1600' out. I know I can use a 24v power supply to extend the set working range from 1000' to 2600'.

I have read post that state to install the 24v power to the 1st pair and others that say to install the power to the 2nd pair of the set.

Does any one know for sure?

I have also read that one SAPS can power 3 sets for extending the lenght.
If this is so, wouldn't those 3 DNs get crossed if the power is terminated to the 1st pair of all 3 DNs?

I know I could figurre this out in the field but I would like to know first if I should bring out 1 large 24v power supply to power up all 18 sets or if I need to bring out 18 seperate power supplies.
