Increase number of options available for Views?

When I create a view, the following options are NOT available to me:

Group items
Choose style
Specify folders

These options are listed in the SharePoint Services help section. How can I change the settings to get these options to become available when creating views?

Those option a for different lists. Meaning if you use a datasheet view you will not have "style". If you are using a calendar you will not have group. Create a custom list in standard view and you will find them.
