Increase memory more than 1 GB in Tomcat

Hi all,

I have installed Tomcat 5.5.20 using JDK 1.5 on Win2003 server with 8 GB RAM. Server has 64 bit processor. I am not able to increase tomcat memory pool more than 1 GB. If I increase I am getting "CreateJavaVM Failed" error in th logs file and tomcat is not starting. I want to increase till memory pool till 4 GB.

Can you please tell me how to setup memory pool more than 1 GB in tomcat on Win2k3 server.
