Increase JPG picture size of 805 x 574 - 244k to A3 1

I have downloaded a picture jpg size of 805 x 574 - 244k
from internet to my desktop.I want to enlarge this to asize of A3.Is it possible.If so how to do this.

Hi jeena,

If you copy & paste the picture into a Word document with an A3 page size, you can stretch the picture to fit the page size.

Alternatively, you could re-scale it with almost any graphics program.

However, with only 805 x 574 pixels to start with - and in jpeg format to boot - you'll never get a quality A3 image. There simply isn't enough detail in what you've got for that, regardless of what sort of high-tech resampling you could use in a decent graphics program to scale the image up to, say 240dpi @ A3 (which is about what you'd need for a quality image at the normal A3 viewing distance of 45-50cm). That would equate to a 5x enlargement.
