Currently on Netware 6.5 running Novell Client 4.91 sp3
Windows XP pro sp2
Zenworks for desktop 7 sp1

when users go to change their passwords (whether or not passwords have expired on netware - they are not set to expire on windows), they get the error "incorrect old password given on <tree name>" Triple check shows the the passwords are not being typed in incorrectly.
They are able to change passwords on all windows systems but not on neware systems. This happens whether the user is a standard user or an administrator. It actually also happens with the administrator account.

Any ideas?
Thanks

i assume pc's are not in a ms domain
and that a dlu policy is creating the ms accounts
