Hi everyone,
I need to pop a system printer dialog box, any thoughts on doing this?
I am in msaccess and so far using docmd.openreport. When the user wants to send the report to the printer I need to do more than just acViewNormal. I need to allow users to select the report then the printer then let them setup the printer i.e. duplex, tray, etc. on the fly before sending the print job to the selected printer.

Any help is always very much appreciated

Okay, I think I've found something that works. First I use the docmd.openreport acViewPreview then with the report in preview I used the DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdPrint which pop's the printer dialog box and allows me to do whatever I like. It's not exactly smooth but it's really really close. Anyone else have another approach?

One last thing, I used the DoEvents command between the DoCmd.OpenReport acViewPreview to allow the report to finish generating and displaying on the screen while the DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdPrint is poping the printer box, now it's just as you would expect it to run.
