Inconsistent data

I created a billing worksheet using data from Timeslips. It's a pretty complicated report and has two sub-reports. The first time it runs the data in the first subreport is inaccurate. It appears that some of the data is duplicated. If I do a refresh and run the report again without changing any parameters the data is correct. Any ideas on what could cause inconsistency like this? I imagine it has something to do with the linking but I've tried it every which way and nothing seems to work.

Try posting your software version, the database, and the connectivity used.

A common complaint along these lines was using an older version of Crystal with an Oracle database, and incorrectly using the Oracle supplied ODBC drivers.

I'm using Crystal 9 with Timeslips 2007.

The main report contains the detail of current billing entries.

The first subreport contains billing history but also has a field that shows the total of the current billing. This number should match the number at the bottom of the main report but is always higher on the first pass, leading me to think that it is duplicating some of the slips. When I refresh the report this number is correct.

The second subreport is a timekeeper summary for the current billing period. I am using the client ID (Nickname 1 in Timeslips) to link the subreports.
