Hi, The system is BC9 and 10 LIMS. Somebody can help me:

<dusyi;
SYSTEM DUMP INFORMATION
INCONSISTENT DATA DUE TO LAST RELOAD OF DATA WAS ERRONEOUS

<allip;
DATE: 07MAR07 TIME: 08:54:41
CODE CLASS NOAF EXPLANATION
42 2 10 RELOAD OF EXCHANGE DATA IN LIM HAS FAILED
85 2 1 BUFFER TRANSFER HAS FAILED

You need to figure out why the data reload is failing -- you'll not get a good system dump until that issue is solved. I hope you have your most recent data changes logged.

Send GJLSP:pRINT=FAULTY; twice.....are the PCM links OK?

Send HIREI; and ALREI; You should get a "RELOAD REQUESTED" response back from the switch. If the relaod fails again, look at the alarm log (ALLOP, not ALLIP) and see which LIM is failing. You can also look at the history (HIEDP, HIMDP)to see if there's something going on with LIM 1. Post back with results.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

Hi, all the PCMs are ok.

You can try to restart the IPU (RFBOI:BPOS=1-0-52;)

Then clear alarms and history and wait to see if you get a code "40" (successful data reload.

If no change, Send RFPUI:LIM=1,UNIT=CIH;

Clear alarms and history and wait for results.

If none of this works, please post the printout from HIMDP:LIM=1;

Good luck,

Dave Strang

short and painfull: LALRL:LIM=ALL;

but check dump first...

Hi whosrdaddy
only while data and programs are reloaded??? If something fails could stand out of service for a long time???

this is always a risk with bigger systems. it depends on how many remote lims you have + the quality of your systems links...

I wouldn't expect an LALRL:LIM=ALL; to be successful, the problem is in LIM 1......he's got a reload executing/trying to execute for the whole exchange now that won't go.......

If restarting the IPU or the unit doesn't work, I'd recommend poking the LPU in LIM 1 for a reload.....nothing like a good hard reset to straighten things out.

For BC9, it should take about 15 minutes for the LIM to reload after you poke it.
