Inconsistant Problems

Hi, I have a group of 23 different classes that use each other to create supply and demand graphs. These graphs have slider bars and small grabable squares that are designed to allow users to move the graph lines around and see the interaction on the graphs. The problem that i'm having is that sometimes when loaded, that applets work beautifully and other times when loaded the slider bars and small squares are frozen and won't move at all. Is this a code problem? or a system problem? is their any tried and true method for diagnosing incosistant problems like this?
