Incomplete upgrade BCM50 R3 4

BCM50 Rls 3

Under Software History:
Step 4 of the R1 to R3 upgrade is incomplete

The only thing that seems to not work is access to the DOCs gives an error page.

How have people corrected this if at all happen

I did an upgrade from release 1.0 or 2.0 to 3.0 and all 4 steps went fine.

Is the factory image installed? Can you see it in the installed software?

Yes the image is installed and steps 1 to 3 are listed.
I should add I walked into this one, I did not do the upgrade.

so what are looking for?
the system funtions OK?
it bothers you to see that part 4 failed then a L2 reset maybe the solution but you need to upgrade again..

I had thought of that but since their is a factory image installed it should not be necessary to upgrade again was my other thought.

curly with the factory image I'm not sure it will accept the upgrade again. I think the only option would be to go to 5 or 6.

I am assuming the factory image is just that, an image of 3.0.
Its is there in case needed to do the level 2 reset no?

Correct if it was not imaged at level 3 and you do a Level 2 reset then the unit will go back to whatever the image was before the upgrade.

I've had a couple of odd things occur after doing upgrades. Most of them were cleared up by doing a power off reboot.

You didn't say if you tried that, but it might be worth a go if you can get a backup out of it first.

I didn't try anything to fix it yet since it was out of scope of work but I did recommend the upgrade.

try to find a bcm50r3 programmed hard disk and boot your system from that.
chek if everything is OK. If yes restore your backup ( provided you have a backup )..

Please dis-regard this post, I was only looking to see if anyone ran into this issue and what method they used to correct it.
