Incomplete call handling TVP 50 and TXTD816

Hi All
I have an 816 (software P411K00306H) with a TVP 50
I have custom menus set up on the TVP and calls are transfered from the VPS to single extensions and to groups with 2 or more extensions.
If a call from the VPS goes to a single ext say 205 and is not answered the VPS takes the call back and offers choice of leaving a message or calling the operator .If leaving a message the mailbox used is the mailbox of 205 which is good
If the call is to a group hunt number say 295 and the extensions in the group are 209 and 210 when the VPS takes the call back and the caller leaves a message the mailbox used is GDM.
Is it possible to use the mailbox of say 209 or 210
If I set up a mailbox for 295 where would the message lamp be and could 209 and 210 still have their own mailboxes
I see in the manual an option "call forwarding from hunting group" I thought to use this to forward group calls to a mailbox for 295 but if I try to program a button to do this I get error tone.

The kxtd had a problem with voicemail for a long time, things got added on, but the voicemail and groups had huge problems that the tda system addressed.

the td system and AA call being transfered saw the call as an internal call, so intercept did not work. The vm system would only transfer a call to voicemail as an extension and not a group, the workaround was to have the option say dial 1 = 209 and have that fwd to a group which that phone can be a member and will ring and when it is pulled back by the vm, it will go to ext209. only deawback is that phone cant be called internaly as it will ring the group
