We have a few G5's in our shop and they seem to have a problem with Cisco's VPN client v_4.9.01. The client connects but they are unable to browse any resources like the windows boxes can. Im not too familiar with Macs so any help is appreciated.

Do your basic troubleshooting, I use the Cisco client all the time on my multiple Macs, both G5 and Intel. The biggest problem is that Macs do not use WINS so all shares need to be FQDN or an IP address. Macs also do not like the builtin Cisco firewall on the VPN concentrator. Also, Macs do NOT like encrypted SMB and alot of times, newer Windows boxen will default to trying to encrypt SMB traffic.

You won't be able to browse, you have to know what you are looking for.

You can save FQDNs in the Connect To menu though. Saves a step
