We have a VoIP gateway connected to two ISDN2e ports of a Norstar Compact Plus. We have an inbound SIP number that rings quite happily on the designated extension. However, when that extension is forwarded (F4) to another extension the call fails. I can see no reason for this as the programming is no different to any other extension with a dedicated number.
Is there anything special that has to be done to the setup of a port connected to a VoIP router rather than one that is connected to an ISDN2e line?
My understanding is that the Call Forward feature (F4) is an internal function and doesn't rely on any network services.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
