New to the definity PBX, new to PBXs in general. My question is how would you go about reporting the number of times a particular phone number(outside the system) calls a particular extension (DID number in the system)???

You will need a CDR device to truly capture this data. There are other ways, but are more difficult, and the data captured isn't easily maniputable.

Thanks,
Chris

CDR = Call Detail Reporting. AKA Call Accounting. See faq690-2462 and faq690-4327 for additional information.

eCAS by Veramark ( is the product that we use, although there are others, and, of course, you can retrieve and manipulate the data yourself without a 3rd party vendor.
