Hi
We have a Mitel 3300 in a regional office and they have 2 main incoming phone numbers. All phones have to ring regardless of which number is being called, but the staff must be able to differentiate between the numbers to enable them to answer the call correctly.
Currently we have set up the system to ring the two numbers on in dividual buttons on each phone....this works fine, except that if the call is answered and then put on hold for x amount of time, it rings back on ALL phones again. I have thought about ways of getting around this and other than telling people not to use hold, I can't think.
My other option would be to have no buttons and all phones ring for both numbers, but I wanted to know if there is a way to display what number is being dialed by the outside caller?...e.g. if someone is ringing 0161 111 222 it will say 123 Ltd and if they ring 0161 111 333 it will say ABC Ltd.
can anyone help?
Many thanks
