Ok, well this one has me and the CLEC stumped entirely.

New Magix system R.3 w/ PRI. The only configurations we have performed are:
-Setting up the PRI, B8ZS, ESF, Type=PRI, etc, etc. Followed the whole PRI Cheat Sheet.
-Added trunks 801-823 to the pool.

We can make local and LD calls.

We can receive LD calls.

Any local inbound calls get a fast busy.

I did a hard reset on the system and redid the programming, same results.

We have an identical system at another local office with the EXACT same setup from our CLEC. I took the system from the new office (no local calls) to the working office and hooked it up to the PRI and have NO issues. I have not tried switching the other, as I cannot have the working office down.

The CLEC hooked up their test equipt yesterday and were able to receive local calls. Verifired that it is a NI2 circuit, so we have our switch type as DMS100.

I am 100% sure this is is PRI problem, and not programming. What can I do to prove to them that their is an issue with their PRI?

Thanks!!!

Unfortuanlly you have an uphill battle on thier hands. If they hooked their test set and was able to recieve calls at the point it goed into their system it pretty much proved it is in the magix.

During the legend years there were problems if trunk 801 was in a PRI. The temporary fix used to be to have the CLEC busy out Channel 1 on thier end and if a call never hit 801 you had no problems It was fixed with an upgrade card (R7V11 I think) I know its not what wrong now but good to keep in mind on older systems they could last years with out a hitch then BAM the PRI would fail.

Getting back to your issue.I would do printouts ON PAPER on both systems and compare them line by line. It funny how a single thing wrong can bring it all down.
