In our old Nortel phone system, we had a feature called incoming digit conversion. If I had a PRI that was bringing in 4 digits, I was able to convert those digits to another extension for routing purposes. The system did this by creating a table converting extension x to extension y, and then I could apply the table to whatever routes necessary. By doing this, I could have a DID with extension X, but also have a main line ending in the same last four digits routed differently. Does anyone know how to do this in call manager?

This can be done in a Translation Pattern. It can take the called number and Translate it to any other number, incoming or outgoing.

As pndscm said, just create a Translation Pattern that matches the incoming four digits. Add the new four-digit extension in the Called Party Transformations area (I don't remember the exact field.) Then put this Transformation Pattern into the partition that the gateway/trunk uses and you should be good to go.
