Hi Guys

I am not that good fimiliar with clustering and it may not be relevent

Is it possible for incoming calls that are currently programmed to ring to controller A to go to controller B first then to three defined numbers on controller A and B simultaneously thereafter ?

Not at your current software load. The incoming calls will end up on what ever controller contains the number you are pointing them to. So if you have an incoming DID and the phone is on A it ring A if you move that phone to B it rings B. If you then want to to ring phones on both A and B at the same time you are kind of stuck. In the new software you could use rng groups and EHDU to do it but not in 8. Maybe others have a idea.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Thank you Loppy

Apologies for the late reply. I did try to add a multicall that was programmed on controller A to a set on controller B and as you say the system at controller B will not allow this. Get directory “number in use elsewhere”

I will have a look at the ring group options using EHDU and perhaps we can get them upgraded.

Actually it can be done in a limited sense. You wont get caller ID until the call is answered for example but...

Incoming call to controller A
ARS routing to controller B
Ring Device on Controller B
Ring DSS Appearances on other Controller B and/or Controller A devices simultaneously.

Thank you kwb

OK so I will use ARS to route to controller B and use speedcall at controller B to a IP set Prime line. Add DSS keys for same prime line to IP sets at controller A and B with delayed ringing.

I'll give that a try as soon as I get the chance and report back.

DSS Keys will not have delayed ringing

Immediate ring only.

Also, don't forget to configure the Remote DSS/BLF form.

Thanks all

Delayed ringing is a requirement. Also will need multiple appearances of the incoming line. Could use hunt group but given the limitations we may go down the upgrade route.

Ring Single Set on controller B

Route call to Analog station (Spare/Phantom) on controller A after 3 rings

All Phones have DSS/BLF appearances of analog atation.
