Incoming calls ring when phone in use

Hi,

I am having problems with my busiest users, where calls are ringing incessantly while they are already on another call. It disturbs them, and whomever they're already talking to.

My thought is that these calls should go directly to voice mail immediately and silently, but that is easier said than done. I've been able to change it so it goes to voice mail on one phone, but it takes 5 rings to do so. Does anyone know how to program the phones to accomplish this?

We have a Panasonic TDA100 phone system with TVA50 voice mail system, and we're using 7633 phones. Thanks in advance!

make sure call waiting is off in extension settings for the extension and use fwd busy no answer *7105 mailbox extension or in extension settings intercept to mailbox when busy
