Hi,
I'm trying to set up a CME to the PSTN. I have one pstn number externally and 6 phones internally. I can make outgoing calls from any extension ok apart from an fxo disconnect problem. The problem I have is incoming calls. I need to get all the extensions ringing when someone calls the external pstn number as its only a smalloffice but I can't seem to get it working. I've been trying to do overlay-dn but I think I might be going in the wrong direction. Can someone please help!!
I'm running cme 4.0
Many thanks

Hi,

Two options I can think of are:

Setup PLAR on an FXO port to ring a number that is a pilot point for a hunt group.

Setup a PLAR on an FXO port to ring an extension, have that extension as a second line on every phone that you want it to ring.

Kind regards,

Agree you can have the FXO ring a dn and ring all phones at once... An overlay works well with this option..

Some people are like slinkies.
Not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.
