Hi all,

We have several 3300 ICPs, most of our numbers are DID and the calls come via an old analogue ISDx. When our IP Phones ring, the display just indicates Cable & Wireless (our provider).

We have Mobile Extension running, and the logs within Mobile Extension are able to correctly give the source number as expected.

I have checked the Class of Service, and enabled ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk on the incoming trunk, and Display ANI/ISDN Calling Number Only for the IP Phone.

If the call is transfered from Mobile Extension to the desk phone (answered on the twin device, then collected on the desk), the caller ID is correctly brought across.

Anyone got any ideas what I'm missing?

Cheers,
-Jeff

Enable both the Display ANI/.... options (set to Yes). That should display the caller ID.

Thanks for your reply.

Both the Display ANI... options are already set to Yes for both the Trunk CoS and the phone CoS (as well as ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk on the incoming trunk).

It still just displays Cable & Wireless.

For analog trunks ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk should be No

It was set to No before I started this process of trying to get it to appear.

Reboot the system. I had this Mystery once. I was banging my head after enabling CLASS option in CO line circuit description options. I tried all sorts of features and when I was about to suggest analog board replacement I desided to reboot 3300 and I magically started working.
