Incoming call - can only hear faint beeps

I have several agents that have reporting receiving a call but can only hear faint beeps. The agent says that it is definitely not a fax.

Where should I look? Could it be a T1 Channel problem?

This could be a war dialer. These devices look for IVR, VRU's, auto attendants and VM. It will attempt to hack them and then use your system to make free long distance, Chatline, or international calls.

See if you can pull a report to see where the calls are comming from.

This may sound goofy but if the agents are using headsets try changing the batteries.
