Incoming call appearance auto selection

I've got one system where when you have an active call and a new call comes in the new ringing call appearance is automatically selected. On all of my other systems your current active call appearance stays selected (highlighted). This sounds like a simple setting change, but I can't find any setting that controls this behavior.

Does anyone know how to control if new incoming calls get automatically selected on the phone's LCD call appearance display?

System = S8300 CM 5.2 with 9620 phones running release 3.1.1 (032910)
