I am making an income statement using crystal 2008. Grouped by account type. I have summaries for each of the detail sections in the group footer. I need those summaries to have the percentage listed next to them. The percentage needs to be based on the account type 'income' in details a.

Thanks

If you're not already familiar with Crystal's automated totals, see FAQ767-6524. Percentages are one option.

Here is one method.
I am assuming that you already have totals for each account and a grand total.
You might want to group on account types to separate the income accounts from the expense accounts.
Then to create the percentage, create a formula (for the detail accounts) with something like the following:

Code:
(Sum ({Call_Log.Rooms}, {Call_Log.Rooms})/Sum ({Call_Log.Rooms}))*100

The first part (to the left of the division sign) is the group sub-total and the part to the right of the division sign is the grand total. Note the use of the parentheses at the start and before the asterisk.
