I am a member of British Computer Society (MBCS).

Does it increase the value of my CV if I include "MBCS" in my CV. If yes, where in my CV should I write this 'MBCS'?

Should I write e.g. JOHN SMITH mbcs ?

Thanks

Hi John,

I'm not sure about Britian but in the US I'd put it under Associations that I belong to and/or certifications I have.

Under associations or affiliations. But not after your name. That is reserved for professions and entitled degrees such as: Yosemite Sam, M.D.; Dagwood Bumstead, PhD.; John Arbuckle, M.A.; etc.
