Does anybody know if it is at all possible to send OLE links from Access to a mail merge document?
Scenario:
I have a database with with stock codes of manufacturing items, some of which have diagrams attached. I produce a manufacturing report which has one item per sheet to be used on the shop floor for production. If there is a diagram attached to a particular stock code, then this needs to be displayed on the relevant sheet.
I have managed to produce the required report via Reports direct within Access, but occasionally when there are 300 sheets plus to produce an error occurs - I think it is a memory issue, hence if I could create a mail merge to Word then this would be ideal.
