A simple question I think, but I have no idea where to start:

How would I go about using the Flash ActiveX control to play an SWF file in my own applications?

Thanks for all help!

If you use MFC you can just insert it as ActiveX control. Take interface IDispatch and open the flash or work with IPersist interfaces. If you don't whish to use a vendor specific library I have a container written in pure C++ which I distribute as source code for free as is and without licence. You can use it with ViualC++ or with BorlandC++ with no differences in source code.

I would really apprecitae having the source code for implementing Flash (ActiveX) in Visual C++.

Thanks

Yeah I did it by inserting the control from the Componenets Gallery. It made a wrapper MFC class and everything. Amazing!

I could then just place the control in the dialog editor. So easy.

I REALLY hope that helps.
