Include attached files in a report

Okay here goes a good one.

I need to see if there is a way to include an attached file in a report.

I have a database with records (don't we all). These records might have an attachment (up to 9 attachments for each record).

I need to create a report that will show the attachment.

Example: I have a record with a jpg file attached and a Word doc attached (same record).

I need to be able to have a report that will show the jpg file and the word doc (not the name of the file, but the contents of the file) in it as well as other data from the records.

Does anyone know if this is even possible.

If not, plan B is to have a way of telling the program to email the attachments along with other data from the record, does anyone know if this is possible?
