How does the avaya switch choose which trunks that an inbound call will be taken on

i know for outbound you send calls over differnet trunks via ars ana table etc / routing patterns etc

but how about inbound calls how are they controlled ??

Inbound calls are controlled by your provider.
Digits can be sent to the switch and then manipulated, or the incoming circuits can be pointed at incoming destinations in the switch trunk-group programming.

variations on how programming is done depends on the hardware and software of your phone system.
The example that rockspop has given is for isdn trunk-groups only and my be in the trunk-group programming on the page that addresses ICHT for isdn trunks. non-isdn can have incoming destination and night destinations on page one or on the page with the TG members.

Command: list trunk-group
Command: display trunk-group xx
