Inbound rings

Hello friends,

Avaya Partner ACS. Analog trunk lines. Inbound caller hears 3 rings, but the phone system rings only 1 time. If my office doesn't pick up the call by the second "heard" ring VM picks up or the caller hangs up. What would cause this delay. Could it be a timing issues with the CO and the phone system? Thank you for your help...
 
Do your lines have CID? The CID info is sent between the first and second ring on analogue lines in the USA. So that delay is possible, you might want to change the ring delay so the VM does not answer so quickly.
