Inbound messages awaiting delivery DO NOT DELETE

Hello,

I am running Exchange 5.5.

For the past day or so, the server has been crapping out for some appearent reason.

I am currently looking into the "Inbound messages awaiting delivery" and am unable to delete the messages in the queue.

Any ideas? Thanks

stop the smtp virtual server and try deleting again

SMTP virtual server? Where do I access that? I am running NT 4.0 server.

I believe you need to stop the Exchange Inernet connection service. The SMTP virtual server is only in Exchange 2000 and up.
