Inbound mail delays on Mailsweeper smtp

Hi
We have recently noticed inbound mail delays on our ISA 2000 machine.
We are running Mailsweeper SMTP and although i can see the mail on the mailsweeper console it is not passed onto Exchange server until 20-30 mins.
Error on ISA 2000 is
"SMTP command failed when talking to ......
Unknown or unimplemented command"
