I've set up a cpe=(cti app/equip) via internal pri and all is working good as far as.....

Calling extensions on either
g3/ext.s <--pri--> cpe/ext.s

Originating outbound calls thru g3
cpe -->pri-->g3(ars)-->route-->outbound

I'm doing this through a new extension block of numbers
ie. 500-599 in dial plan, g3 has no ext.s in 500 range
and using the ETA to route all unknown numbers to the cpe pri. Dial 504 on switch and routes via ETA to cpe.

cpe dials g3 local ext. gos to ext. no problems.
cpe dials 9xxxxxxxxxx hits fac to ars, no problem.

Here's the problem I'm trying to solve.
Inbound (CO/LD)calls to g3->to cpe ext.s

Inbound calls get answered by audix, enter your parties ext. etc. I have audix set up with machine including the 5xx block and autoattd set up with "e" transfer 5xx.

So as far as I can tell "e" transfer is supposed to dump the call back into the switch if someone enters ext. 504.
Well it does, but doesn't find an ext. 504, as expected.

I was hoping at this point it would follow the unknown number rule and use the route for ETA, like above, but it doesn't. You have to set up an (ghost) ext. 504 on switch to get to even take call.

At this point I can't figure out how to make it use ETA and route this call where I want. Either audix or some type of cov path for ghost ext. that uses the cpe pri trunk group.

I hope I've explained well enough what I'm trying to do.
Any ideas on how to get this call to transfer/route out of audix and through ETA?

If u do "change system features" in the Intuity and change the page 3 to "tranfer to subscribers" to "any" then it might go. Avaya might have to change it though, and it will increase chances of toll fraud too. Many huge corporations have it set up that way, they just "lock it down in the pbx" and don't have toll fraud problems.

Already tried that, maybe it's because I'm on an older system ( g3siv6) don't have choice of "any", only "subscribers" or "digits".

The closest I've been able to come is setting something up pretty wacky.....

ie.
504 x (ghost ext.) with all calls going to cover.
Cover path has single cover of r1 (remote number)

r1 = 507 (507 only on cpe and can't cover back to self 504 )

Since 507 is an unknown number, it follows switch rule for unknown numbers out ETA to the cpe/ext 507.

cpe/ext shows audix as the caller.

There just doesn't seem to be any way out of audix, once in via auto-attnd and back into the switch. It says it transfers back to switch but not really, because it won't transfer back unless there's an actual extension defined in the switch, when what I really want is to just send it back to the switch and let the switch decide what to do with it, not audix.

I've about given up.

I think next I might just have to try giving everybody their own toll-free DNIS number and just bypass audix auto-attnd altogether. Still have to test that though, should work.

Nope, tried that.

Still need an ext. setup on the switch.
You would think audix would just transfer it to the
switch and let the switch take care of but doesn't.
So you still need to set up a ghost ext.
