Inbound EDI Error in Gentran

Hi, All.

I'm currently using Gentran: Server for Windows NT version 4.0. I am moving the Flat file data to Database. While processing the inbound document, the data is coming into the (?in Documents) with no errors. The Name in the ?in documents is UNKNOWN and the status is NOTOK.

But if i Export the file from the ?in documents, its properly moved to the Database. I dont know where the problem is?

From this i found that its the problem with the Inbound relationship. But I checked the partner, the relationship is defined and Acknowledgement flags were not selected anywhere in the Interchanges or in the Translation.

But still the error is coming.

I think this additional information will be help to track the error.

Pls help me in this regard.

ARE RUNNING A TEST DOCUMENT? MAKE SURE YOU ARE RECEIVING A TEST ("T" IN ISA 15). I'M USING GENTRAN 5.3 (IN CASE OUR VERSIONS ARE SIMILAR), THERE IS A RADIO BUTTON FOR "PRODUCTION" AND "TEST", LOCATED IN THE ADVANCED TAB IN TP SETUP. YOUR OUTBOUND SETUP SHOULD ALSO INDICATE "TEST". THIS IS DONE WITHIN THE INTERCHANGE TAB, THEN ENVELOPE TAB, THE ISA 15 RADIO BUTTONS WILL SHOW 'TEST' AND 'PROD' CHOICES. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Thank you for the information.

The message i am trying to load is of
Agency - E [Edifact]
Version - S 93A [EDIFACT 1993 RELEASE (S-93A) STATUS 2]
Transaction - CUSRES [CUSTOMS RESPONSE MESSAGE].

One of my freind told me the problem is with the UNH segement. Since the error tells that it could not find
the relatationship for S 93A5108S

Error as from Audit log:
Translator: Relationship not found for partner: TWCUSTOMS, direction: In, agency: E, version S 93A5108S

The UNH segement is like this:
UNH+26500091808501+CUSRES:S:93A:UN:5108S'

But it concanates the version and the message type and says, relationship not found for S 93A5108S.

BUT AFTER PROVIDING THE PROPER EDI CODE IN THE PARTNER PROFILE ITS WORKING NOW.

But the error logged is not at all related to that.

Typically under Gentran if the partner, document set, test flag combination is missing you will get this error
